Thanks to a community that views education
as one of its highest priorities and to dedicated parents, PAUSD
students are the beneficiaries of countless volunteer hours and
monetary support from a variety of groups and organizations. Last
year, volunteers who served in the District contributed over 200,000
hours of service, sharing generously of their talents and skills
in a broad range of programs and services. The District is especially
appreciative of the work and support from the PTA
Council, PTAs at each of the schools and the Palo
Alto Partners in Education.
In addition to parent groups, the District fosters cooperative relationships
and continues to build strategic partnerships with business and
civic organizations, the City
of Palo Alto and other nearby educational institutions.
The District is dedicated to working closely with all its educational
partners in mutually beneficial relationships that enhance the educational
experience for all students.
