SCHEDULE:
1 hour of prep time per 3 hours of teaching
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Practicing artists with experience working with elementary students preferred;
- Competencies in fine art media and techniques, such as drawing and painting.
- The ability to collaborate, plan and follow curriculum are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Specific Duties Include:
- Follow and plan elementary standards-based art curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver hour-long art classes to a diverse group of students.
- Working collaboratively with Elementary Teachers and participate in professional growth meetings provided by Art Education.
- Possess interpersonal skills needed to work effectively with colleagues, parents and Art Ed Staff.
