Students Receive President's Volunteer Service Award

PAUSD is proud to announce that ten of our students have been awarded the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) for their exceptional participation in a citywide initiative promoting cybersecurity awareness in Palo Alto!

This ongoing 2024 initiative, led by the CIO Office of the City of Palo Alto, has greatly benefited from the dedication and hard work of these students from Gunn High School, Palo Alto High School, and Jane Lathrop Stanford Middle School:

  • CyberSmartz: Guarding Teens from Bad Actors by Ajay Gopinath, Aadi Belwal
  • En Garde: An App for Cybersecurity for Seniors by Krish Khanna, Anish Mathan, Kavya Mathan, Kanaan Kuartei
  • PALY Cybersecurity Awareness Program by Samarth Karnam, Agastya Parikh, Aiden Miao, Om Rajan

Their efforts, spanning several hours over three months, have made a significant impact on our community. Congratulations!
