Online Summer School Programs

For elementary:

This program is offered through FEV Tutor which includes 1:1 tutoring in Reading and/or Math.

Middle School:

  • Eligible rising 8th graders can sign up for the Bridge to Algebra class through the mathematic instructional supervisor at their site
  • Eligible rising 6th-8th graders will participate in a middle school math course. The course will be taught by middle school math teachers and focus on preparing students for the upcoming school year. It will run from July 6-31 with a 4-hour block. The class will be taught entirely online through Schoology, and has a daily required attendance/participation component. Students who do not participate daily will be dropped. Policies and protocols will be available on the first day of class.

High School

Credit Recovery courses will be offered through UC Scout; this program is only for credit recovery. Economics will also be offered to rising seniors through UC Scout. Students will have time to complete their course through August. Living Skills will be offered through Schoology for students already signed up prior to school closure; new registrations for Living Skills will not be accepted. Credit recovery for Chemistry will be offered through Schoology.

June 15-July 31: Chemistry

July 6-July 31: Living Skills for juniors and seniors who had already signed up through the summer school office.

July 6-August 21: Credit recovery: students missing credit.

Classes will be credit/no credit for the spring semester. Fall classes are eligible for a grade.
