Backstage with the Superintendent Webinar Series Update 4/24/2020

From the Office of the Superintendent:

Dear PAUSD Students, Staff, and Families,

We are heading into a weekend with a little more experience and a few more positive outcomes. We are hovering around 99.3% of our students logging in for assignments and feedback. More teachers are connecting personally with students and our classified staff are joining students in virtual settings as well. We know it's a challenge for everyone and appreciate the good attitudes expressed by so many.

Our first webinar was held last Monday to an audience of roughly 700 live participants. You can view the recorded version on YouTube. Our next webinar will be held on Monday, April 27, at 5:30 p.m. Participants will meet our new high school principals, Wendy Stratton for Gunn High School, and Brent Kline for Palo Alto High School. We will also hear from Greene Middle School math teacher, Josh Spira, about what our closure looks like from a teacher's perspective. The following Monday, May 4, will be dedicated to some of our classified roles and elementary schools. Please join us on Monday through either of the two following options:

  1. If you would like to view the webinar live and do not want to submit questions or comments, we would suggest viewing on YouTube Live option.

  2. For those who would like the option of submitting questions and comments through the Q&A feature, we would suggest the Zoom option.
