Celebrating our retirees

This week, we gathered at the district office to honor the incredible educators and staff members who are closing one remarkable chapter and stepping into the next. We are deeply grateful for the years of dedication, heart, and commitment they poured into our students, our schools, and our community. Their impact will be felt for years to come in the lives they've touched. As they embark on this well-earned next chapter, we wish them all the joy, rest, and adventure ahead.

Staff Appreciation Week

This week, our district staff rolled up their sleeves and got to work crafting delicious yogurt parfaits — delivered fresh to school sites across the district as a small but heartfelt gesture of appreciation for our incredible staff. Because the people who show up every day for our students deserve to feel celebrated, not just during Staff Appreciation Week, but always.

Work-Based Learning Success Beyond the Classroom

Numerous PAUSD students have been named winners in KnoPro’s online challenges.  KnoPro is a web-based platform created by the national education non-profit NAF, which  partners with PAUSD to develop CTE pathways and offers work-based learning opportunities for our students.  The platform is available to all students and can be found on the Career Opportunities slide deck .

The prestigious Law Day 2026 Video Contest, organized by the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara & the Santa Clara County Bar Association, where two Gunn students earned 2nd place for their video demonstrating creativity and a strong message about this year’s Law Day Theme:  Rule of Law and the American Dream.  Their message is inspirational and encourages students to participate in work-related field trips hosted by the  Work Experience Program to bridge the learning gap between the classroom and the  real world.
