PAMC Combines Author Visit and Creativity Cart Service Project to Promote Mental Health and Creativity in Schools

Palo Alto Middle College (PAMC) High School recently hosted an author visit and service project, focusing on mental health and community service. Author Daniel Garblik shared his career journey and highlighted the importance of mental health through his buffalo-themed book, Always Rain, which resonates with the school's buffalo mascot. Students engaged in thoughtful discussions, asking insightful questions.

The visit concluded with students assembling “Creativity Cart” kits for distribution to elementary schools across the district. These kits aim to foster creativity and resilience in young students, supporting emotional growth and well-being. This initiative combined literature, creativity, and community service to promote mental health at an early age.
