Acting Superintendent

It is an honor to step into this role during an important moment of transition for Palo Alto Unified School District. My immediate focus is simple: stability.

The Board of Education has begun the process of conducting a thorough and deliberate search for the District's next permanent superintendent, and I am fully committed to serving as a bridge during that effort. My goal is to ensure that we continue the important work of this District, supporting student achievement, student mental health, and upholding the PAUSD Promise  without interruption.

While I am grateful for this opportunity and take the responsibility seriously during the search for PAUSD’s next Superintendent, I do not have aspirations for that position beyond serving in this temporary role. PAUSD is a remarkable community, and I am committed to honoring that.
