Elementary School Campus Supervisor
Salary range: 21
Reports to: Principal
This position is typically one hour over the lunch period ranging between 11:30 am - 1:30 pm depending on specific school schedule.
Under direction of School Principal, perform a variety of duties associated with supervision of students on campus; related work as directed or required.
Any combination of training and experience equivalent to completion of twelfth grade and experience with students desirable.
Suitable temperament and demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and students.
- Assist in supervising student lunch, activity areas and library during lunch period
- Supervise and and monitor play structures to ensure student safety
- Patrol areas such as auditorium, library, rest rooms
- Assist in general supervision of campus as directed by assistant principal
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
- May assist in afternoon bus loading as needed.

- Skill in motivating, encouraging and assisting students;
- Ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action.

Lifting, carrying, and pushing objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Seeing to monitor students; specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. Work environment includes working directly with children. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
