About the Board of Education

The Board of Education holds approximately two regular meetings each month. Regular meetings shall generally be held at 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays at 25 Churchill Avenue, Palo Alto, CA. The agenda shall be posted on the Board Meeting Materials page 72 hours prior to a regular meeting. Materials for special meetings will be posted 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting.

Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD) Board of Education has five members who are elected by the public to four-year terms. Elections are held in even-numbered years, and terms are staggered so that two or three seats are open at each election.
