Building Healthy Relationships & a Culture of Consent

The Superintendent's RISE Task Force is sponsoring this event as one part of PAUSD's ongoing sexual harassment and misconduct prevention programing. Participants will gain insight into the work Anea will be doing with our high school students and what the PAUSD community can do to promote healthy behaviors in our teens.

Anna Bogue brings her expertise for creating a culture of consent by empowering teens to know their boundaries, express them and respect those of others. She will also provide practical tips for how to effectively communicate with teens about affirmative consent and healthy relationships.

Anea Bogue, B.Ed., M.A.: Anea is a sexual health education and the creator and director of REALgirl® and REALboy™, both revolutionary empowerment programs yielding incredibly transformative results domestically and internationally. Anea has worked with the U.S. Army to create sexual assault prevention content for their programs. She is also the cohost on the popular and educational parenting podcast, RAD Parenting, where she offers sage advice with her comedic cohost, Joe Sib, on topics that span the gamut of parental challenges. Anea’s first book titled, ‘9 Ways We’re Screwing Up Our Girls and How We Can Stop’ is based on her master’s thesis, which was dedicated to the self-esteem crisis among women and girls.
