Barron Park held its first Recycled Fall Fashion Show "Trashion Show" on November 15, 2018. Kindergarteners through fifth graders rocked the runway in fashions designed from recycled materials.
The Trashion show gave the students an opportunity to encompass environmentalism and innovation. The words “reduce, reuse, and recycle” took on new life as students created chic trashion. CD hats, paper bag vests, and cardboard shirts are a few of the amazing designs. Most designs were made in the Maker Studio during recess and lunch in a three week span.
Special thanks to everyone who dropped off recyclables.
