Updates for Plan Year 2019!
Sutter Health Plus is changing the Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) to Express Scripts as of January 1, 2019. The drug formulary still includes all generic drugs and many preferred brands, and uses the same four-tier design we currently have. Some drugs will change tiers and will have new prior authorization requirements. Current Sutter Health Plus members will be mailed information about the plan change during November, directly from SHP.
- Employees opting out of medical and/or dental must elect opt-out each year and provided proof of insurance (IRS Requirement).
- All employees must re-enroll to participate in Flexible Spending Accounts (IRS Requirement).
- Log in to BenefitBridge and update your Voya Life Insurance beneficiary information.

The District is utilizing the online enrollment platform, BenefitBridge. All new enrollments, plan changes, dependent changes, etc. will be made online. BenefitBridge will be accessible beginning Friday, October 26 at 8:00 a.m. Chrome or Internet Explorer are the recommended browsers. Please read the BenefitBridge Registration Instructions for information regarding registration and login.
