Registration for the current 2017-2018 school year can be done at any time. However, Palo Alto Unified School District administrators strongly encourage students to start at the beginning of the semester. Semester 2 for grades K-8 starts January 8, 2018; and January 9, 2018 for grades  9-12.

  1. Gather all required documents.

  2. Complete an Online Registration application. The Registration Services office has a computer for public use if needed. 

  3. Finish registration with an in-person visit to the District Office; bring all the original documents you gathered in Step 1 above. Walk-ins are accepted, but to avoid possible long lines, booking an appointment is recommended: Book an Appointment . The Online Registration process MUST be completed BEFORE your appointment. (In the interest of serving those waiting, we will consider your appointment canceled if you are 10 minutes late or more for your appointment.)

  4. Learn more about which school your student may be placed
