Our approach seeks a thoughtful balance: fostering innovation, preparing students for college and career, and supporting responsible, ethical use of AI.
We believe that students and educators benefit from clear communication and shared expectations around AI use. We encourage open dialogue between teachers and students about how generative AI tools may or may not be used in specific courses, assignments, and assessments.
As we continue to define AI literacy and explore best instructional practices, our goal is to ensure every PAUSD student develops the skills and knowledge to use AI thoughtfully and effectively, ready to thrive in a changing world.
