Quick guide for new students

Welcome! This guide should help you in getting started with PAUSD online technology.  Students are typically issued a Chromebook by your school site. You will need to log in to ClassLink to access the online applications for your classes.

1. If this is the first time logging in, you'll need to figure out your username and default password. Your Username is your student ID, which is an 8-digit number that starts with 950. If you don't know your username or default password, contact your teacher or open a Let’s Talk ticket to have it reset.
   
   IMPORTANT NOTES: 

   1. please login with your student account (not your parents' account), so that you can access your student tools & apps.

   2. Some students (e.g. TK-grades 1 or 2) may use a QR code to login. Teachers will provide the QR code for students.
       

2. Once you have your student ID and password, enter your username and password on the login page on your district issued Chromebook. If you are logging in from a personal device, go to ClassLink.

3. You can view your classes, assignments, and message your teachers on Schoology. Click on the Schoology icon in your ClassLink LaunchPad to access.

4. The tools and applications available in your ClassLink LaunchPad will vary depending upon your grade level, school site, and the courses you're taking.
