SASSY—School After School for Successful Youth—is an after-school vocational training program run by Job Train that equips high school students with the skills and attitudes they need to succeed in life. Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD) students may earn up to 10 credits a semester participating the SASSY program.
- 10 PAUSD credits per semester
- 4 - 6 hours of after-school classes
- Afternoon or evening classes throughout the year
- Quarterly grades (appear on official high school transcripts)
Job Train is a private, non-profit job-training center located in Menlo Park that offers training and guidance to young people looking to get a start in the professional world, upgrade their existing skills, or enter careers in the high tech industry.
